If the bar had a least a wall around it or barrier of some sort then the other families and children womt have to here all the adult things being said.
My husband and I decided to bring the boys to this place. We hopped in the car and took the 30 min drive. Pulled in the parking lot and pulled back out. I don't know when these pictures were taken, but the place looks NOTHING like them. It's extremely run down!! No lights on the outside and not a car parked in the lot. We were afraid to eat there. We were really hoping to find a new cool spot to eat and figured the boys would love the train Decor.

Hopefully take my son to blackbeards next summer, but the restaurant itself was just okay. My son loved the trains around the tables though
Didnt like how i was sitting with my bf and his 2 year old son by the trains and the bar is right there. So as adults got drunker they of course get louder,and say whatever, and then the words start flowing , ya know what i mean, lol.
It was ok... Not like how i remembered it when i was young.
After reading several horrible reviews, I decided to overlook the negativity and give the restaurant a try. I talked my daughter into having my grandson's 6th birthday party there on 8/25. There were several hiccups during the party. After speaking with the GM Mr. Dominick and Mgr. Lindsey who were both AWESOME, they both went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied and made the wrong right!! If anyone ever has an issue with anything here, I urge you to speak with either of them so they may correct the problem, before adding a negative review. They are both committed to customer satisfaction and I applaud their efforts in continuing to make this a great family friendly restaurant !! I will definitely visit again when I visit NJ.
Im am not saying that i care they are drinking and having a great time but the kids don't need to hear it..
One of my favorite places in the area. Cheap beer, good food, classic arcade, what else could you ask for? Great local joint and if you come during the day it is right next to Blackbeards Cave, a great place to bring the kids.
After Reading all these reviews I'm kind of glad nothing bother eating there.
Its geared more for the little ones and always had been.
